The Report
The Slough fans went into the game hoping to see an improved Slough side, they were to be disappointed. This was far from our best performance. Alan Foster was quite poor and the defence could have been improved, but let's get to the positive points of the match. It could have been that we had gone rusty after the 2 week break. It could have been that seeing as Hampton had something to prove, we just couldn't keep up with them. Either way, this simply wasn't good enough.
1st Half

The first half was scrappy. There was not a lot to report, other than three well taken goals from Hampton, one a complete howler from Slough 'keeper Alan Foster.

Ian Hodges had what turned out to be our best try of the match about ten minutes before Hampton opened the scoring, his shot went over former Slough keeper Adrian Blake and hit the crossbar.

2nd Half
Same as the first half, shoddy. A credit must go to both sides as Slough let in only the one goal this time and Hampton took it really well. Nothing much else to say. Slough were second best at all times and must improve dramatically if they are to take anything from this Saturday's match.
