The Report
Slough Town continued their recent run of good form with this hard-fought victory over Whyteleafe. Despite going behind midway through the first-half, the Rebels fought back bravely and won the three points.

Although far from our best throughout the match, Slough still played some neat and attractive football at times. Bad defending allowed Jason Williams to head the visitors in front with 35 minutes gone but two Ian Hodges goals sent the Rebels into the break one goal up.

Glen Harris lifted a corner deep into the Whyteleafe penalty area to Ian Hodges who headed in at the far post.

Another Glen Harris corner flicked on by Rebels defender Martin Moller to Ian Hodges at the far post who bundled the ball in.

The second-half was closer. Both teams had even possession but it was the Rebels who scored the only goal of the half.

Martin Moller cleared the ball upfield to Ian Hodges who crossed the ball over to Tony Boot who shot past the 'keeper.
