The Report

Slough Town ended the season on a high with three points against lowly Croydon. A first-half penalty from Alex Haddow and a second-half brace from midfielder Glen Harris sealed the Rebels inevitable promotion.

The Rebels weren't stretching themselves in he knowledge that they were already all but up, with Matt Miller being the only one with something to prove.

Alex Haddow opened the scoring with a penalty during the first-half after Ian Hodges had been brought down in the box.

Glen Harris then doubled the Rebels lead when he ran into the area and hit a low shot past the Croydon 'keeper.

Half-Time Score: 2-0 to the Rebels

Harris increased Slough's lead further when he ran into the box and hit a low shot past the 'keeper for a goal almost identical to his first.

From then on Slough just ran the clock down with Croydon rarely threatening the Rebels goal, with a shot from just inside the area hitting the crossbar and their no.15 scoring the rebound with a nice backheel into the net proving to be nothing but consolation.
