It was Slough who controlled the early stages of the game without
making the most of the possession. Alex Haddow did get a goal but it
was ruled out because the referee saw some pushing.

Just five minutes after that Staines opened the scoring when Matt
Flitter headed home a cross for the first goal of the night.

From here the Rebels went downhill and with only five minutes of
the second-half played Staines doubled their lead.
Steve Daly gave away possession and Hunter ran past Daly and
fired past Jake Whincup.
It took another 15 minutes for Staines to put the game beyond
Slough and it was Hunter again that mustered a shot through the
defence but Whincup was unable to stop it from flying into the net.
Despite Slough's efforts to gain a consolation goal it was
