The Report
The Rebels booked their place in Monday's 4th qualifying round draw with a comfortable win over Cheshunt at Stag Meadow. Four goals in the last half hour sent Slough on their way to a potential money spinning tie against one of the bigger non-league sides.

The first-half was pretty dull, with neither side keeping up a consistent spell of pressure. The Rebels best chance of the half was probably a Alex Haddow shot that just skimmed the outside post.

Half-Time score: 0-0

With 15 minutes of the second-half gone Slough really got going and Alex Haddow put us in front when he connected with a Josias Carbon cross and when the ball was seemingly bouncing wide, it ricocheted off the post and into the net.

This seemed to inspire Cheshunt who responded by stretching the Rebels defence to their limits, but they couldn't find a way past the ever reliable Jake Whincup.

It wasn't long before Ryan Spencer doubled out lead when he was put through by Glen Harris for him to turn and shoot past the 'keeper.

Josias Carbon made the win safe in injury time when substitute Veli Hakki found him unmarked in the area. Carbon made no mistake in calmly slotting the ball home.

But it wasn't over yet. Matt Seedel beat his man down the right and slammed the ball underneath the 'keeper.

The draw for the 4th and final qualifying round of the FA Cup will be made at 11:00 am tomorrow morning and can be viewed on the FA Website at 11:30.
