The Report
Slough made further progression in FA competitions this season with this fine win over Ryman league rivals Chelmsford city.

In an end-to-end encounter, both teams had good chances, and both teams defended well.

Slough started the better, a Glen Harris header deflected wide of Adam Nicholas's knee. Minutes later Matt Seedel headed wide Josias Carbon's cross.

With Chelmsford threatening to come back into the game, Slough's Matt Seedel putting the ball over the bar from Ian Hodges' cross.

The second-half went the same way as the first. Slough continued to pressurise Chelmsford's goal.

With the game seemingly heading for a draw, the 'keeper fumbled Glen Harris's shot and Matt Murphy was first to the rebound as he sent the ball into the net.
