Rebels made it three wins out of three for home matches against
Cheshunt this season.
The only team news ahead of the match was
that goalkeeper Shaun Allaway is still injured, and that defender
Michael Murphy was serving a one-match suspension.
Slough welcomed back Nick Gyoury (pictured above left) to Stag
Meadow, after only a few days since he joined today's opponents from
1st-half was lacking goalmouth opportunities. Slough had one chance
cleared off the line, and only really started threatening Cheshunt's
goal towards the end of the half.

advantage on 62 minutes when he headed Glen Harris's (pictured below

go in place off Matt Murphy. He had three good goalscoring
opportunities. The first, Ryan Spencer's through ball found him
unmarked, but he was caught in an offside position.
His second, Miller ran through on goal with only the goalkeeper
to beat, but he took his shot far too early and scuffed it well
final chance, Alex Haddow managed to get a cross from the left wing
after having beaten two defenders, Matt Miller's back heel hit the
post and rebounded to safety.
The Rebels had one other good chance. Substitute Leigh Masson,
recently promoted to the first team squad from the capital league
side, forced a good save from the Cheshunt goalkeeper with a curling
shot from inside the area.
