The Report
Do not dispose of the rubbish.

So says the notice outside the sun bathed Stag Meadow ground. Slough chose to ignore the instruction and comprehensively disposed of a poorish Windsor side 4-0, much to the delight of the Slough faithful.

Slough dominated the first half without creating much. Poor crossing and a ball that bobbled on a worn surface stopped Slough from turning possession into a lead. The killer ball just wasn't happening, and as the game went on, Windsor came slightly more in to the game. After 43 minutes Windsor went close with a shot by the Windsor 12 Eloumani, who had come on for Aiteouakrim who had badly twisted his ankle.

Slough hit back straight away with a jiggling run by Leigh Mason whose shot was well palmed wide by Martini. Well pleased by making a good save, the Windsor keeper then amused the Slough fans by a tirade of F'ing and blinding that indicated he lost it completely.

Soon after the restart, a wide free kick from Michael Murphy was sent high and hanging into the Windsor area for Matt Murphy to deftly place a header down into the corner of the net. From then on it was Slough's game.

After 56 minutes Leigh Mason was chopped down in the corner, earning the Windsor 3, Parsons a yellow card. From the free kick Matt Murphy scored his second with a powerful header that Martini tried to hold. He should perhaps have tried to palm it as it was too powerful and went straight through his hands for Slough's second.

Slough were now turning it on and their passing game for once paid the dividend of an excellent goal. At the edge of the box, in a straight line, Murphy, Mason, Seedel, goal.

Shortly afterwards Leigh Mason was brought down during a jiggling run in the box, as clear a penalty as you could wish for. Matt Murphy took the kick and dummied Martini for his hat trick. 4-0 to Slough.

Several substitutions only temporarily stunted Slough's dominance. By the end even Wilkinson was successfully showboating as the happy Slough fans sang "Brazil of the Ryman League"

And a Happy Easter it certainly was, for all except the Windsor fans. This report is a bit one sided, but then so was the match.
