and Matt Seedel gave them a comfortable 3-1 win over neighbours
The Rebels opened the scoring with about 15
minutes gone as a cross from Leigh Mason, although saved by the SYCOB goalkeeper, rebounded off an unfortunate defender
and into the net.
about half an hour gone, Alan Lague (?) made it 2-0 as his miss-hit
shot from inside the area found its way past the goalkeeper and into
the corner of the net.
It wasn't all Slough though, Rebels goalkeeper Michael Parkin
(pictured above left) several times denied what seemed certain goals with
a series of impressive saves.
stopped the flow of the match during the 2nd half, but that didn't
stop Matt Seedel (pictured right) from making it 3-0 with a superb
run into the area and a shot to match, turning the ball in at the
Roy Gumps pulled one back for the hosts minutes later, but the
Rebels ran out comfortable winners.
