The Report
A brace from last seasons top goalscorer Matt Murphy (pictured left) gave his new club Brackley Town a 2-1 win over Slough.

Brackley opened the scoring with 10 minutes gone when the defence lost possession for Murphy to pounce on the oppurtunity and slot the ball past Michael Parkin.

Murphy's second came just before half time after another defensive mix-up left Matt Murphy with an open goal.

2nd half

With around 15 minutes left, Josh White pulled one back for Slough on the rebound from a shot following Josias Carbon's cross, but the hosts easily held on for the win.
