The Report
Slough Town have yet to win this season following a home defeat to AFC Wimbledon.

The Rebels fell behind after 20 minutes after a header came off the crossbar, Shane Smeltz ran away from the Slough defence and shot into the far left corner of the net.

Slough continued to pressurise the AFC Wimbledon goal, but never forced Andy Little into any decent saves. AFC Wimbledon rarely threatened, but still looked the most likely to score when they did.

Midway through the first half, a long through ball was met and lobbed wide of the goal by a AFC Wimbledon forward before the advancing Michael Parkin could make any contact.

2nd half

Slough continued to dominate possession, but still failed to force any saves out of the 'keeper.

AFC Wimbledon continued to look dangerous on the break, and Slough were left to rue their missed chances when Barry Moore met a long ball and headed confidently over the advancing Michael Parkin for the visitors second goal in the 90th minute.
