The Report
Slough picked up their second straight win with a scrappy win over strugglers Redbridge.

Slough started the better team and threatened the goal as early as the 2nd minute, Glen Harris (pictured left) shooting from the edge of the area, resulting in a diving save from the goalkeeper.

10 minutes later, Glen Harris shot from inside the area and struck the hand of a defender but referee Paul Martin didn't award a penalty.

Ian Hodges (pictured right) put Slough in front on 23 minutes when he shot into the bottom corner of the net from outside the area.

Slough's lead was doubled on 34 minutes when Ian Hodges was thwarted by the 'keeper one on one, Glen Harris was on hand to bury the rebound into the roof of the net.

Poor defending allowed Daryl Plummer to pull one back for the visitors on 43 minutes but on loan defender Jamie Brooks (pictured left) restored Slough's two-goal advantage on the rebound following an Ian Hodges shot.

2nd half

Redbridge scored a second goal on the counter attack, Daryl Wilson the scorer.

From then on, the visitors looked set to go on and get an equaliser. Slough occasionally threatened, with a Leon Woodruffe (pictured right) free-kick outside the area comfortably saved by the 'keeper, but never really maintained any sort of pressure for very long.

On 90 minutes, Glen Harris should have made the game safe when he was clear inside the area, but he shot over the bar from a good position when he should of at least hit the target.
