Rebels threw away a 2-0 half time lead to lose 4-2 at the Victor
Gladwish Stadium on Tuesday night.
Slough could have opened the
scoring as early as the 2nd minute, following Mark Knee's back pass,
but in the 9th minutes Ian Hodges did put Slough in front when he
converted Josias Carbon's (pictured left) cross from close range.
Mason (pictured right) doubled Slough's lead just before half time,
when he pounced on poor defending to hammer home Slough's second
The home Rebels pulled one back when Richard Pacquette finished
from Lutwyche's cross.
With both goals under threat, it was Worthing who managed to get
an equaliser through Stafford Browne through a penalty after Francis
was fouled in the box.
unlikely comeback was complete, Pacquette with his second goal,
beating Michael Parkin (pictured left) from inside the area.
Slough continued to threaten but Worthing finished the stronger
side and grabbed a fourth goal when Francis blocked Steve Daly's
attempted clearance and shot past Parkin.
