The Report
Slough returned to winning ways against struggling Redbridge at the Oakside Stadium on Tuesday night.

Slough's first chances came after 10 minutes, with Jamie Brooks (pictured left) picking up Hodge's pass and forcing a good save from the 'keeper.

With both sides finding chances, it was the Rebels who broke the deadlock with half an hour gone. Darron Wilkinson saw his two shots blocked, with the latter falling kindly to Leigh Mason whose rebound span into the corner of the net.

Ten minutes later the home side were rewarded for their pressure as David Apata equalised. Apata fired home from close range following a corner.

Slough regained the lead just before half-time. Ian Hodges (pictured right) met Jamie Brooks' cross at the far post and made no mistake in guiding it into the back of the net.

2nd half

Ian Hodges got his second goal of the night soon after the restart, meeting Andy Ballard (pictured below left) long throw and heading the ball into the net from inside the area.

With Slough happy to defend, the game slowed down as Redbridge tried unsuccessfully to get back into the match. Leon Woodruffe and Josh Miller both squandered chances for Slough before substitute Michael Alexis put the game beyond doubt as he headed the ball across the goalmouth and into the far corner of the net following another Andy Ballard long throw.

The Rebels comfortably held on for the rest of the game for a rare win in Essex.
