Slough put in another poor performance to leave them flirting with the relegation zone.

The Report
This was a vital match for both sides. Whoever lost would feel the threat of the  relegation zone breathing down their necks.

Hendon started the brighter of the 2 teams, and just after the quarter hour deservedly took the lead when Crace outpaced the Slough defence to slot past Parkin. They deserved to take the lead having come close minutes earlier.

Slough were unable to get going, with no one in midfield willing to hold the ball. Get rid asap seemed to be the mindset, showing that confidence is low. Hendon continued to pressure throughout the first half, but no more goals resulted.

The second half started badly for Slough, when Hendon launched a quick counter attack. With Alexis still looking displeased that he was not awarded a foul, Hendon broke away, 2 passes and Hunt slotted home past a flat footed Slough defence.

The home team had a glimmer of hope a few minutes later when Murphy of Hendon was sent off for kicking out at Hodges, but although Slough now had the majority of the possession and caused a number of goalmouth scrambles, Hendon held on to be deserved winners.

Don't we just need a defender with some pace!!
