started brightly and should of been 3-0 ahead within the first 10
minutes, as Slough missed three easy chances. First, Leigh Mason
side-footed wide from 5 yards with an open goal to aim for, then
Matt Seedel (pictured right) failed to get a good touch on the ball,
thus allowing a defender to clear before it crossed the line, and
Andrew Ballard missing by the width of the goal from about 10 yards.
game died down after that and Leatherhead got back into the game,
forcing a good save from Clark Masters to keep out a shot heading
for the far corner.
The Rebels took a deserved lead
through Leon Woodruffe (pictured left) as he hit a free-kick through
the wall and into the bottom left corner of the net.

in what was their only real chance of the second-half.
The cup holders finally made the game safe in the 86th minute, with
Gareth McCleary chasing a lost ball, managing to keep it in play
down the left wing, delivering a brilliant cross for skipper Steve
Daly (pictured left) to head in at the far post.
