The Report

Slough's hold on the Ryman League Cup was loosened as the Rebels lost to Fisher Athletic for the second time in three days.

Fisher's Lenny Piper has given the home side the lead within two minutes, but the Rebels levelled through top scorer Ian Hodges when he nipped in and lobbed the ball into the corner of the net.

Five minutes later Slough took an unlikely lead after a free-kick was bundled into his own net by Duku.

Just before half-time though Fisher drew level through their top scorer Steve Watts when he slotted home from inside the penalty, prompting the Fisher goalkeeper to wind up the travelling Slough fans by making gestures at them.

2nd half

The Rebels fell behind for the second time in the match when Taylor fired the ball home from 5 yards out after 'keeper Clark Masters had bundled Riviere's shot.

From then on the home side dominated the game.

Fisher doubled their lead as Taylor was left unmarked by poor Slough defending for him to run and slot the ball past Masters.

In the 89th minute, Fisher scored their fifth goal after Barr was bought down inside the area. Barr was subsequently booked after arguing with his captain and the referee as to who was going to take the penalty.

In the end it didn't matter, as Steve Watts bagged his second of the night with a low shot that beat Clark Masters in the Slough goal.
