A weakened Slough side,
missing Duncan, Wallace and Glynn who had all picked up knocks at
Maidenhead, had a good work out in a somewhat lacklustre draw. Daryl
Harris played at right back, with Jarvis playing in midfield. Both
teams netted in the first half, but both were disallowed (not
realised by all Slough supporters).
Half time saw the
arrival of Woodruffe, who seems to be playing a more attacking role
this season, and Slough had the better of the second half, Woodruffe
hitting the crossbar. Goalie John Beams looked useful, though Slough
seemed to lack punch upfront.
Fairly tame stuff in
many ways, but that's friendlies for you.
