Bedfont 0-2 Slough Town

After a shaky first half, Slough eventually proved too good for Combined Counties outfit Bedfont.

With the home side having a goal disallowed for offside during the first half, an early James Pritchard shot was the closest the Rebels came to a goal until Tom Windsor converted Tom Attrell's cross with the aid of a deflection in the 74th minute.

Danny Jordan completed the win after beating 2 defenders and slotting the ball past the 'keeper shortly afterwards.

Rebels team: Jon Beames, Dean Harper, Eamonn McConigely, Ryan Fenton, Richard Peirson, Craig Roberts, James Pritchard, Danny Jordan, Adam Dickens, Jon Gray. Subs: Jamie Jackson, Tom Attrell, Laurence Brown, Tom Windsor, Karl Jeffery, Leon Braithwaite (all used).

Henley Town 2-1 Slough Town

Despite playing the better football and creating the better chances, Slough weren't clinical in front of goal and fell to their second pre-season defeat.

Adam Dickens missed a first-half penalty, with the Rebels creating chances aplenty, but putting none of them away. Jon Beams in the Slough goal was rarely tested.

A number of reserves and U18 players were tested for the second half, but the rhythm of creating but not converting chances continued.

Substitute Rebels goalkeeper Jamie Jackson was beaten by two powerful shots across goal before Laurence Brown headed in a consolation goal, converting John Gray's cross.

Slough Town 1-7 Stevenage Borough

Slough lead a Stevenage Borough 2nd XI at Holloways courtesy of a Danny Jordan goal, but the quality of the Blue Square Premier reserve side shone through the away side ran out easy 7-1 winners in front of 135 people.

Danny Jordan fired home from within the area to put the Rebels 1-0 up, but the lead lasted 2 minutes before Lee Boylan placed a free-kick beyond the reach of Jon Beams.

Lee Boylan then went on the rampage, scoring a further 3 goals in the following 10 minutes as the visitors went into half-time 4-1 up.

Goals from Adam Drury, Callum Wilcock and another from Boylan completed the scoring. The Rebels did create chances, with Danny Jordan beating 2 defenders only to fire narrowly wide of the far post, and a blocked Roy Gumbs effort being the closest Slough came to adding to their score.

Rebels team: Beames (Jackson), Harper, McConigley, Fenton, Pierson, Dickens (Roberts), Pritchard, Riddell (c) (Brown), Jordan, Platt (Gumbs), Gray (Attrell).
