deservedly beaten by lowly AFC Hayes at Holloways Park.
much of the first half Slough actually played some neat football and
were creating chances. A long
range Matthew Platt looping shot that caught the goalkeeper off his
line fell just wide of the far post, whilst Byron Bubb (pictured

and slam against the post.
The visitors also
had missed chances with glaring shots missing their target, but the
deadlock was broken with a little over five minutes remaining in the
first half when Nick Walters danced through the defence and rocketed

confusion as to who had actually committed the offence, it seemed
the referee Mr A. Gillett had sent off the wrong man.
Rebels continued to press to no avail, with Yashwa Romeo doing well
down the right flank, laying the
ball off to Lee Riddell (pictured right) who subsequently mis-controlled
the ball out for a goal-kick. Substitute Dean Harper bundled the
ball home in injury time, but it was too little too late for Slough,
who suffer a 6th defeat in seven games in all competitions.
